As major pharmacies gear up to take on more Ready to Eat foods. Ask yourself ?
Shouldn't they be taking the same precautions with the food we eat, quality, and food
safety as in our medications.
"Yes we take Extra
Care to filter and
control the light."
Why are They Colored?
Prescription bottles are usually colored
to provide maximum protection to the
medicines. To prevent light from
degrading the medicine inside through
photochemical reactions. Many
substances--milk, beer, medications--
degrade with exposure to light. And so
to preserve the medication's
effectiveness, prescription bottles are
created with the intention of keeping
medicines fresher. Some Say “WOW”
Recently red color is adopted by the Target stores to color the prescription
bottles manufactured by them.
